how?
How does the brain forget what it's like to be 39 weeks pregnant?? I don't remember feeling this way when I was pregnant with Sophia. I guess it is good to know that I won't hold this against #2 either. I ache all over. Last night it took me hours to fall asleep (despite the Ambien) - on the couch, half propped up so the heartburn wouldn't be so bad.
But it's different for everyone - Misha says she's sleeping ok and only has hip pain - no heartburn. And of course other people have a whole array of pregnancy issues, so i guess I shouldn't complain.
I have completely forgotten also about changing diapers in the middle of the night. I am prepared for being up to nurse - but I don't want to have to actually open my eyes. Hopefully she will be a baby who would rather not be changed in the middle of the night, like Sophia. I remember doing it for awhile, and then she decided that it was torture and I said 'fine with me!'
I feel like Christmas is coming again - I feel like the house has a special nighttime glow. We DID spend many hours cleaning up today. Jeff cleaned the Toyota and put the infant seat in. We vacuumed every surface in the upstairs... our to do list shrinks.

4 more days, 4 more days, 4 more days....we are very excited to meet #2!
I remember having hip pain towards the end of my pregnancy, and sleeping on my side was REALLY uncomfortable...of course nothing I seemed to help.
JUST GET THE BABY OUT and enjoy those 2-3 days in the hospital(even if you feel like crap) with a little break from Sophia, Its very important for the new little girl to have those few days with just you, because thats pretty much it for her, those are the only days that she gets to be an only child, unlike Sophia who had you all to herself for 19 months.
Steve was with Gianna so much while I was in the hospital, I didn't expect him to visit with me more than once a day, What was a great thing is each night that i was there someone else visited me, One night a girlfriend here and the next night Cory came by (and got checked out by all the nurses)It was also really nice to have Nico in my room way more than I had Gianna when she was a baby, because she was under the billi lights.
