forgot the camera

we have been having a great day
this morning:

imagine the Hiram Chittendon Locks in Ballard.

now imagine us there with partly sunny skies and a brisk breeze

we are watching geese. geese swimming. geese cleaning feathers. geese sitting. oh and geese flying. and honking,
oh - here comes a boat! a tugboat! and another one! this one is pulling.... a HUGE drydock! It takes up the whole lock. It is "beeeg"

then we see a train crossing the bridge past the locks.

we go home and Sophia has a tofu dog with ketchup and mustard for dipping (LUCY!!! Lucy advised on dipping) and it was a hit.

Sophia has been saying "FUN!" lately when she is having fun. Very cute.

And Stella slept for 3 hours this morning, which is good because she has, yet again, a cold (so does Sophia).
