gender determination

First off - for all those who don't know - we ARE having another baby, sometime in early January. Today we had the super dooper ultrasound, and before I get down to the nitty gritty of boy or girl I have to tell you about just how crazy refined those ultrasounds are now! We saw the baby's eye LENS! (creepy looking) and the lips! along with view after view of the heart and every other body part.

I am tempted to make interested parties email me their guesses as to the gender (or is it sex? I always forget, and Lara's mom would be slapping her forehead in frustration if she read this) just to make it more fun, but as Jeff pointed out, this IS after all, baby #2, and no one really cares that much this time around (funny since we didn't find out the first time). So without further ado (and because I am tired of typing and want to go eat some ice cream) let me just say that our kids will get to share a room for many years and we get to recycle the toys and the clothes for as long as possible without creating any gender confusion. Yep, that's right, we're having another girl. And before you ask: we're very happy with this.
