So Danielle ever so KINDLY offered to watch Sophia today so that I might get some things done before we leave on our trip. I decided that meeting her in Ballard would be best because then I could run some errands there AND they could play in the Ballard skate/water park

I packed up a variety of foods and clothes and such and off we went. Sophia didn't even notice when I left - that's how cool the park is (plus Danielle is FUN FUN FUN) and I got just oodles done (went to work and did payroll, went to selfservecarwash and cleaned up, went to PCC and FINALLY got our soap refills AND got to go to Archie McPhee's)
When I pulled up at the park (rockstar parking!!) I saw them sitting on a bench having a snack. Well, I saw Danielle and I saw Sophia's huge sun hat - it dwarves her. I couldn't help but heartily chuckle as I walked up becuase it was JUST SO STINKIN' CUTE to see Sophia sitting on a bench like that, you know - legs just way too short to even begin going over the edge. And she was dressed only in (sunblock) her hat, her diaper and her socks and sandals (no toenail you know). She had obviously been having fun! (insert photo here - sorry, I hadn't brought the camera)
And she gave me a huge hug replete with many pats on the back.
Oh the joys of having someone watch the baby for you - you get to leave AND you get to come back.
