shots and snot

Phia had her 4-year checkup on Friday and was very brave about getting her 4 shots in the thighs. OUCH! Consequently she is lethargic and feverish and ouchy. Happy news is no more innoculations until age 11 (except for flu shots)! As we were driving home from our post-doc errands I felt illness descend upon me - the glands swelling and throbbing, the throat tightening and the snot rushing into every available cavity in my head. ugh, major cold. the last one was respiratory blech - this is pure head cold with aches too. I hope hope hope that phia doesn't get it because tomorrow is her birthday party!!! and the weather is even going to be nice!
