getting the pool ready

So these photos are actually from Friday morning, but in lieu of any photos from our pool afternoons I will put these up today. We have had warm WARM weather these last two days - maybe summer is finally here? Sophia is pool queen.

I am already thinking of how to plan a pool party because we not only have this inflatable 2-kid pool but we also have the humongous inflatable FAMILY POOL that Ned gave us oh-so-long ago. I thought we could have big kids and little kids pools. And I can't help but imagine the kids screaming and laughing at the summer slip-n-slide party that we will surely have because we do indeed have the perfectly sloped back yard for a slip-n-slide. Everyone is invited.

ok - gotta do laundry and make some parent-dinner now that the kids are in bed. Hey - if it's summer, how come I have what feels like bronchitis? Anyone? Anyone? Sigh.
