Stella.
Once again my mind goes blank as I start to write. Tired. Stella's still up - upstairs with Jeff, so I can't quite let down my hair yet. Usually by the time she is ready for bed so am I.
We had a good week. My sister was visiting and it was great to just have hang out time with her - something that hasn't happened in ages. She was great help too - she spent a lot of time with Sophia.
Next week is my first real week alone. Luckily I have at least two planned activities (moms group for me on Monday and music class for Sophia on Thursday) plus my mom is great at stopping by to play with Sophia. I will try to go to a playspace too one day. Seattle's community centers have pretty decent playspaces for $2 per visit.
It's funny how at first Stella just seemed SOOOOOO TINY and now Sophia seems just gigantic.
Stella is sleeping pretty well at night. The first stretch is usually 5 hours (something Sophia didn't do for months!), but getting her to fall asleep for that first time is our challenge. She seems to have a big wakeful period right before going to bed. She does sleep a lot during the day, something which is easy to let her do since that means I can focus a little bit on Sophia in between nursing. It's all a tricky balancing act.

wow! long sleep stretch already! that's great...especially helpful when you have another little one. at least you can catch up on *some* sleep. emma's longest stetch @ night is still only 8 hrs. (10 if i'm lucky). some day she'll sleep all the way through.
nice that your sister could visit. when my sisters visited they too ended up spending more time w/ tyler. it's just hard to give them both equal attention when a baby demands so much more. take care you guys!
