stink

It seems we have reached a new phase in our house - the Maia can't get a shower phase. With two active kids who aren't entirely safe I just can't seem to get many showers without someone else to watch the kids. I can do the quick-quick get wet, turn off water and soap up then rinse off style shower (so I can hear everything that is happening outside the bathroom), but even that seems hard to manage!

Stella is MUCH better about pulling up, meaning she can mostly get herself down again. And she is definitely traveling on the furniture - pre-cursor to walking. This morning she was up at 5:45 and I nursed her and I thought she was going back to sleep so I tried to slip her back into the crib but she protested loudly so I brought her back to the couch and we just hung out under the fleece throw. She was being very cuddly and quietly chatty and it was very very sweet and nice. Little soft baby head resting on my shoulder. I know it is going to be gone soon. Oh sigh. When Sophia woke up and came out of her room she ran over to us and climbed up on the couch and Stella was SO excited to see her sister and we did a big group hug. What a wonderful way to start the morning.

Then the cat pooped TWICE in the basement on the FLOR floor and it just stunk up the house not to mention the fact that she's POOPING ON THE FLOOR. Ugh.

Should I get ready to have more poop on the floor as we head into the 2 1/2 time to get going on serious potty training?
