Stella seems to be happy taking at least one LONG nap each day. I thought it was a morning thing but today (since I made plans to go to the playground with Sophia) she decided to take the long one in the afternoon.

We've been working on the shed again (pictures to come soon) - finishing up details so we can finally USE IT, and so we've been outside in the backyard all weekend. Today after lunch Sophia and I hung out while Jeff painted the NEW SHED DOOR that he built yesterday. We got out the radio flyer wagon and did wagon rides in the morning and in the afternoon we did jogging stroller rides around the backyard. She fell asleep in the jogging stroller and inadvertently leaked a whole water bottle into her lap. When she woke up she was sitting in a puddle. We came in and took off her clothes and she fell asleep on me and I moved her to the couch, which is how I am writing this now. Stella has been asleep since 1:30. Jeff is off at the grocery store.

Great weekend. I made cookies yesterday and strawberry peach scones this morning.

So I had told Sophia, who loves the 'payboun' (playground) and fing pie (swing up high) soooo much, that once we made the new shed door AND took down the old shed that we would put up a swingset. She remembers and reminds me. Of course she doesn't know how much more work we still have to do... there's a concrete pad under the old shed that we will have to break apart.

So I found an interesting sounding job that I need to apply for... cross your fingers for me!
